Elizabeth Sarah Collections isn't just a fine jewelry line featuring handmade products - its an umbrella company, under which Philip Bennett Walker also operates as an independent artist.
While the original art and jewelry are unique in themselves, what really sets Elizabeth Sarah Collections aside from other companies is our business model.
Both Elizabeth and Philip are the head artists behind each brand, and offer something different to the world of art and design.
Simply put, we sell the products that we make with our own hands. In order to stand out and successfully compete with other businesses, this aspect truly puts us in a lane of our own and allows the husband and wife team to focus on creating quality fine art and handmade jewelry.
Most retailers, whether its clothing stores or art galleries, rarely sell products that are made directly by the owner or employees of that business.
From major department stores to local boutiques, these companies act as a middle man, selling items brought in from wholesale accounts, which are usually mass produced, and whose employees are simply behind them for the jobs they provide.
As owners of a growing business, Elizabeth and Philip do pretty much everything themselves, from product design and creation, to social media, inventory and more.
Since I'm their solo full time employee, I help manage these aspects too, along with assisting with production and writing these blogs to keep you in the know.
Each creation is a product of passion and intention - rather than making merchandise solely for the masses, Elizabeth and Philip's individual styles are both timeless and trending.
But 100% of the products we sell, from our one of a kind and small batch jewelry designs, to Philip's original art and hand embellished prints, is created by our hands right here in Atlantic Beach.
Rather than purchasing pre-fab items and assembling them quickly with little to no attention to detail, Elizabeth's process of designing and hand-making jewelry involves her creative eye and trained technique from start to finish.
Philip's art comes from a place of imagination and his own love for all things Florida and Mother Nature. He could easily take stock photos and reproduce them, but instead his ideas stem from friends and family, movies, music, and other lifelong inspirations that have influenced his collections.
While there may be collaborations with other artists at times, it's our goal to keep everything exclusive and true to our brand, while giving credit when it's due.
A major part of running a business in this new digital and social media age is having a worldwide online presence while also staying relevant in our local community.
Since we don't yet have a brick and mortar, our team does all of our own work to sell and advertise. We also don't rely on other, larger companies to purchase our inventory and sell it as their own brand.
With that said, our websites are updated daily and our team also hosts monthly pop up shows to showcase and sell our products.
We want our customers to know that each piece of art, or one of a kind necklace is designed and made by the hands of the very people you're talking with on a casual Friday night, or at a Saturday Arts Market.
Our team intends to keep these values instilled as we grow our business, and continue to honor the authenticity of our brand.
