Crane 1 and 2 were created for the Legacy Matchmaking Installation. I needed something to tie all the plant life to the jungle cats to a Florida based matchmaking firm. I wanted to pick something that would bridge the gap from jungle tropical - to coastal sub tropical. The crane with the sea oats in the back ground did it for me. They represent an area of the southeastern United States that the locals refer to as “The Golden Isles”. This is where my Grandparents grew up. At sunset in the coastal backwaters anywhere between South Carolina to North Florida the sun hits the marsh grass just right to emit a golden glow.  It would be rare for a person to witness this without a white crane or a blue heron or pelican obscuring the view at some point throughout the evening.  These originals have numbers because I plan to make a bunch of them lol!!
