The Chief was originally painted for the first #theMP Chicago show. Wanting to tie in with sport aesthetic that the town pulls from, they experimented with animal( the Bears and The Cubs) and Native American (The Blackhawks) themed imagery along with historical references to create a few of their most iconic works to date.

This is a collaboration between Mobarick Abdullah III and Philip Bennett Walker.
