Grand Opening Deets & Everything in Between
Can you believe the Elizabeth Sarah Collections Boutique & Gallery is opening in just TWO weeks?!
We may or may not be freaking out - in a good way of course - and can’t wait to host the most epic opening event for our friends, family & ever supportive customers.

The Jacksonville Beach store will feature Philip’s art created in our Atlantic Beach production space, Aquilla Studios, as well as handmade jewelry by his wife & business partner, Elizabeth Walker.
Now that we’ve gone from signing our lease, to planning our Grand Opening, we want to fill you in on everything that’s happened in between!
In true Walker fashion, everything about this space has to be top notch with gallery quality lighting & lots of wall space to deck out with our creations.
In late August, new lighting was installed as one of the first orders of business to get the ball rolling for the renovations. All of the fluorescent lighting both in our shop and the lobby area of the building was replaced with bright new lights that work on a dimmer so we can ~set the mood~ depending on the time of day or event being thrown.
Next on the agenda was new flooring throughout the shop as well as in the lobby. We’re always thankful for our great friends at Emerald C’s for their help & guidance as they installed the new flooring, plus drywall, vents and more in just a few short days.
Not to mention the hookup with a custom glass door similar to the ones at the production studio for prime window shopping.
Around here we don’t mind watching paint dry, as we’re eager to start decorating & moving everything from the old gallery, and our friends at Savage Brothers did amazing on the fresh interior paint job earlier this week!
While all these renovations were being done, no time was wasted with the aesthetics, from looking for new furniture, to decor and jewelry displays to outfit the store.
Of course this is one of Elizabeth’s favorite parts, doing the research and shopping as she channels her artistic brain and hones in on all those interior design details. Obviously we don't want the furnishings to overshadow the art and jewelry, and Elizabeth did an amazing job complimenting the neutral-chic gray flooring and furniture with accent rugs, pillows, plants and everything in between.
The first feature you’ll notice before even walking in is our brand new sign that can be seen from Third Street. Elizabeth coordinated with our landlord & Signarama for the perfect representation of Elizabeth Sarah Collections, a familiar design to the brand, seen on the website and business cards.
Part of the decorating process also included putting together a cohesive collection of Philip’s art that will be displayed for sale throughout the lobby and shop walls. This means taking exact wall measurements, going through his current inventory, creating brand new originals, ordering prints, getting them framed in time and creating info cards. Whew!
But the work doesn’t stop there. Packing up our old gallery from the Walker's home shop is bittersweet - but this week's project is to start moving all the jewelry and installing art, furniture, etc before finalizing the last minute details next week.
While we make trips to and from the store, unpacking boxes, installing internet, and creating a new environment where we'll spend the majority of our time, we can only look back with so much gratitude for the milestones reached, and make new goals for the future of Elizabeth Sarah Collections.
First on the checklist is to celebrate with all of YOU at our Grand Opening party Friday, September 24th from 5-9pm.
Our favorite Royal Palm Wine & Tapas will be catering delicious dishes and with wine by our friends at King Estate, Alleycakes champagne cake pops, and glam decor by Aura Event Co, we're ready to let the good times roll!
Oh, and the first twenty purchases of the night will receive a FREE gift as a thank you!
